The Democrats have made it official. They are going to guarantee health care for all. This is the ultimate big government initiative. The only way for this to happen is for massive tax increases, the over regulation of the healthcare industry, and ultimately the rationing of healthcare.
Health for all is a noble goal, but it is not the job of the federal
government to elevate it to a right of all citizens and non-citizens. This is one more step in a Nannyocracy.
Health care is expensive, but there are ways to lower the cost without
price fixing and rationing. The quickest way to make healthcare more
affordable is to stop all the mandated coverages so that insurance
companies do not have to have different policies and costs based on the
State regulations. Second put consumers back in charge of how much
they pay by having them pay for their own insurance instead of
companies. This gives people the incentive to control the costs
knowing it affects there rates. It also forces healthcare companies to
compete which will also lower costs.
